Philippe LeBlanc, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital following a brief illness at the age of 85.

Philippe LeBlanc Born in Dorchester, he was the son of the late Félicien and Emma (Auffrey) LeBlanc. He retired from NB Community College as a custodian and Eaton's for 23 years as a shipper. He loved hockey and working with wood in company of his children and grandchildren. He was a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeannette (Doucet); one son, Laurie (L.J.) (Patricia Utley) of Belliveau Village, Memramcook; four daughters, Muriel (Dismas) Brun and Bernice (Joe) Cormier both of Dieppe, Marie-Thérèse (Allen) Reid of Nanaimo, BC, Angela Belliveau (Tom Gaudet) of Cormier's Cove, Memramcook; eight grandchildren, Terry, Nadine, Marc, Michel, Tyler, Charline, Nicole, Marcel, and Mathieu; eight great grandchildren, Justin C, Meaghan, Melissa, Melanie, Justin B, Isabelle, Kyle and Aimee; sisters-inlaw, Rosanne, Mathilda, Marie (Bernard), Marie (Dominique), Marie (Zoël), Muriel, Sister Cécile Doucet and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Rémi (April 8, 2004); six brothers, Henri, Zoël, Daniel, Leo, Clarence, Dominique; four sisters, Adéline, Marie, Laudia, Alice; brothers-in-law, Bernard, Emile, Zoel, John, Adolphe and sisters-in-law, Marguerite (Daniel) and Béatrice (Clarence).


Visitation will be held from Dupuis Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Tuesday April 20, 2004 at 11:00 am. Cremation will take place after the funeral and the interment in Pre-D'en-Haut at a time to be determined.
